FAU :O
Hello bloggers!
The semester is almost finishing, at last!
Today I’m going to talk about Architecture in FAU.
Well, when I searched for a university to
study this career I looked for opinions about this university. I had more options of
universities, but I liked most the curriculum in Universidad de Chile than the
other universities.
But there are always things to change,
mostly in this emblematic university:
For my career, the free space for work is very
reduced. The students don’t have any place to study quietly, rest, or
some place to save our works or materials for Workshop. And the Workshop rooms are
shared and small, so is complicated for me and the others students of Design,
for example, to have a place to work quietly.
It’s very sad because I consider this
university one of the best of Santiago, and when I compare this faculty with others
(private universities), we are very disadvantaged in that way.
As I said before, I like the curriculum,
but I think that in this university the academic load is a lot. The students
don’t have enough time to sleep or recreate with other activities, and
sometimes this situation affects in a really bad way.
My best friend is studying
architecture at Usach, and I think she has less academic load than me. Architecture
is a heavy career, but at that pace I’ll become crazy haha.
The teaching methods at Fau could be changed too (in Workshop). I don’t know how, but I think it could be improved.
All in all, the problems that we have in
Fau could be improved in some years.
